My Story
Hey there! I am a Mama to three beautiful girls, Sammy (19), Lilly (13), and Kennedy (4)! Everything I do in life.. I do for my kids. I want the very best for them in every aspect of life. I work from home and just graduated with my Bachelors in Human Services. I am engaged and live in a beautiful home (which I re-decorate frequently!) I am loving life!! Rewind.... back to 2013 I was a single mama living in a small two bedroom apartment, working outside the home as a dispatcher, working inside the home as a nanny, and going to school full time. I was busy and barely making it. I had never even heard of Scentsy until a friend of mine was having a fb party and I got bored one day and ordered a warmer and a bar of snowberry. I had never even smelled the scent or seen the products in person! I liked burning candles so why wouldn't I like melting wax, right? When I got it.. I loved it! I remember the scent reminding me of a time in my childhood when I had a slight chapstick addiction (the kind I bought smelled just like it!). I thought that was pretty cool that a scent could bring back memories with such force that I used it 24 hours a day and soon ran out. I had no clue where I could get more since my friends party had ended.... until I saw someone else advertising it on facebook, so I ordered a 6 pack of bars through her. I didn't even know about being a consultant at that time. Before I became a consultant I had only ever melted one scent in one wamer! Here is the funny story of how being a consultant fell into my lap. I was selling some household items on fb and a gal was coming over to buy some laundry detergent. When she got there we were chatting and scentsy came up. She started to tell me how she was a consultant and how much it had changed her life. Changed your life? Ya right. Was my first thought. How could a direct sales compay CHANGE YOUR LIFE?? Then she told me all about the kit you recieve when you sign up, that caught my attention. I signed up to get the kit! I got the kit and didn't do much more than use the products for the first two months as a consultant. The third month I wanted to stay a consultant, just incase, so I decided to have an online party for myself. I sold $1000 in product in just 15 days, earned a promotion, and a raise! What in the world? How was this so easy? After seeing for myself how easy it was I just kept going with it. After seven years, more promotions, adding a team, getting to take fun vacations, and meeting new people I am still improving my game and having fun doing it! I can say that Scentsy has enriched my life by giving me the opportunity to grow as a person and get out of my comfort zone. I am much more out-going and this enables me to reach and achieve new goals and dreams for myself and my family in all areas of our lives. It also gives me a little something for just ME! As a mama I don't get that luxury often but with Scentsy I have MY OWN thing and it doesn't even feel like work! I have met BEST friends through Scentsy! So, what started out as a one warmer/one scent household is now a warmer in every room/mulitple scents home! <!--endbody-->
